Our Cash Givaway to the Bush Fire Victims

When we heard news of the devastation the Victorian bush fires had created, we wanted to do something to help.

So, on Friday the 20th of February, we came to work in fancy dress and raised money for the people whose lives were so terribly affected.

Cash Doctors aim has always been to provide people in need, and they know better than anyone that a little cash can go a long way.

Making a change to our usual practice of lending fast money, on this day we were instead giving it away.

Each staff member was asked to make a minimum donation of $10 and by the end of the day they managed to collect $500 cash. “It’s not huge but it’s what we can do” says Nick Auchincloss, CEO of Cash Doctors.

All funds raised will be donated to the Commonwealth Bush Fire Appeal to help those who need money.

Special considerations are being given to those clients of Cash Doctors directly affected by the fires. Our friendly staff in the collections office have been keeping an eye out for any clients living in affected areas and applying any necessary sensitivity to usual standards of practice.
