"Does applying for a Cash Doctors loan affect my credit file?"
This is a good question.
The very first time a client applies for a Cash Doctors loan we will check their credit file, which will be recorded simply as a 'credit enquiry'. It does not however, record the result of their application (if they were successful or not). We will not do a credit file check on any further loans that they have with Cash Doctors,
The only other way in which a client can have anything recorded on their credit file is if their loan becomes 60 days overdue and they refuse to enter into a repayment schedule offered by Cash Doctors.
Here at Cash Doctors we do everything in our power to set our clients up with affordable payment arrangements, in order to prevent ongoing debt. We're pretty different from other finance providers, the reason being that Cash Doctors works for you.
