What’s The Deal With The Log-in?
The log-in really pulled together everything for our clients. People have there own area where they can apply, keep track of their loan applications, sign the contracts and look up the details of any old loans.
First and foremost it’s a matter of transparency. Because of the way a lot of pawnbrokers and payday lending shops conduct themselves, some people are apprehensive about taking small loans. Even when you do business with a bank, you get bombarded with excessive paperwork rather than the information you want. Either way it can be scary and off-putting.
We’ve done our best to make people feel comfortable and thoroughly informed. All the small print is there for people who want it. Most people want to see the breakdown of fees at any time and have the ability to play with a calculator to see how different options might work out. There are no surprises. It’s all out in the open and very easy to understand.
Secondly, it’s a matter of staying up to date with current applications. When clients get their first loan, we have to ring payroll to confirm some details. Most of the time this happens within minutes, but other times they can be hard to reach and it can take an hour or two. So it’s good to have the log-in so people can see how their application is going and know how far away their loan is. There’s nothing worse than wondering what’s going on.
Finally, the online signing of contracts requires that people have their own personal confidential log-in area where they can review what they’ve requested and tick the box to agree. At one stage we had faxed contracts and it was messy and wasted time and trees. Most importantly, people get paid much faster now. As soon as the contract is signed, they go in to the payment system and the money is there shortly afterwards. As always, they can see exactly when they get paid and stay up to date for when the repayment is due.
So it’s a vital ingredient in making sure people know what’s happening and ensuring everything is as convenient and fast as possible. We’ve needed cash ourselves in the not too distant past and we understand what people want. So far it’s great to hear that it’s appreciated by so many all around Australia.
