What YOU can do to speed up the loan approval process

To keep the application fast and faxless and double check we're lending the right amount, Cash Doctors does a quick call to your payroll to confirm a few details from your application.

Normally people contact their payroll and let us know straight away. Then we do the call and pay them minutes later. The whole lot can happen in 20-30 minutes.

Sometimes it can drag out unfortunately - meaning people aren't paid as quick as they'd like even though we're doing our level best.

Here's what you can do to help us do the payroll call and pay you as fast as possible.

  • Contact your payroll during or straight after you apply, then tell us you've done it straight after. We can't talk to them until you've given them the green light to talk to us.
  • Ensure you give Cash Doctors the correct contact details for payroll. This is especially important if you work for a large company. A direct-dial number and name works best.
  • Ask your payroll if they have any special requirements to help save any back and forth and get it all done as quickly as possible.
  • Some companies require an employment verification fax from Cash Doctors (signed by the applicant) to be sent to the payroll containing the details that need to be verified. Do you? Check first.
  • Some companies need a signed privacy statement before they will talk to us.
  • Check whether or not payroll will confirm your bank details with us. Some companies will not give out or confirm bank account details, whether you give them permission or not.
  • Ask your payroll if there is a specific time frame that suits them for Cash Doctors to call. Then let us know. This saves time for us, you and them, plus you'll know when yours is done.

So be prompt, give us the right details, ask your payroll if they need anything special before they talk to us, and try to make sure they're available. It's easy stuff. But if you can do it all, then we'll be able to pay you in minutes.

  1. 3 of your most recent pay slips
  2. A recent bank statement (from the last 30 days) showing both the account number, and one of your salary being deposited
  3. Proof of Address (such as a gas or phone bill etc)

NOTE: IF you are the payroll officer we must either receive these documents from you, or speak to a superior in your place of employment to confirm your details.
